Wim van Lieshout to the Supervisory Board of AEB Amsterdam

Former CEO of waste management company HVC joins the Supervisory Board of AEB Amsterdam. This was decided by the shareholders' meeting this week.

Van Lieshout (57) is currently project director of Porthos, the initiative of parties in the port of Rotterdam to capture and store CO2 in empty gas fields in the North Sea. Van Lieshout studied civil engineering in Delft and Enschede and was also director of the HVC - waste-t-energy plant for many years.

"Wim van Lieshout's appointment will also give us more knowledge and experience of the heat market on the Supervisory Board. This is in line with AEB's strategy of concentrating on waste recycling and energy from waste" said Peter Molengraaf, Chairman of the Supervisory Board.

Van Lieshout was appointed for a period of four years. He is the fourth member of the Supervisory Board, next to Gerard Boot, Huub Cuijpers and Chairman Peter Molengraaf.
