AEB recognised as recycling company
In March 2010, AEB was awarded the ‘Recovery’ (R1) status by the Dutch Ministry of Housing, Spatial Planning and the Environment (VROM). This means that the government regards the methods applied by AEB to convert waste into energy and construction materials as a form of recycling. Not only is this recognition of the successful technology developed by AEB, it also means that AEB can import waste from other European countries.

Net gain for Amsterdam
By processing waste, generating energy and recovering materials, AEB contributes to a clean, sustainable Amsterdam. The green power covers the needs of thousands of Amsterdam’s businesses and households.
