Since January 2016, our Supervisory Board has five members. The Supervisory Board meets at least five times a year. Marianne van Leeuwen, Chair, was appointed as of 4 March 2014 and is responsible for the following areas: remuneration (remuneration and remuneration policy), recruitment & selection. Gaston Sporre, Vice Chair, was appointed as of 1 January 2014 and is responsible for remuneration and recruitment & selection.
Mirjam Nouwen was appointed as of 20 May 2014 and is responsible for audits.Pieter ter Kuile was appointed as of 1 January 2016 and is responsible for audits.
Marc van 't Noordende was appointed as of 1 January 2016 and is responsible remuneration and recruitment & selection.
The Supervisory Board is responsible for supervising the management of AEB and general affairs. The Supervisory Board also advises the Management Board.
On 1 January 2014 the Waste Energy Authority was corporatized into AEB Holding Inc. with 100% of the shares owned by the City of Amsterdam. The company’s trade name is AEB Amsterdam.
